Biolab is a specialist lyophilisation ( freeze drying ) technology company
operating in
New Zealand. Genesis utilises New Zealand's pure and clean biological
resources to manufacture food products and biological extractives for
the health, nutrition, pharmaceutical, animal health and research markets.
The business is based on the proprieters 20 years of experience in biologicals
manufacture and lyophilisation applications.
Located in Christchurch, the largest city in the southern island, using
one of the cleanest and clearest artesian water supplies available anywhere
in the world. Christchurch has a fresh environment reflecting the low
humidity and temperate climate of this coastal city sitting under clear
blue south pacific sky. This is an international city with a smart business
infrastructure.
Genesis Biolab operates from a purpose built facility containing the highest
quality in construction, plant and equipment.
The facility and processes are MAF ( NZFSA ) registered and audited for export. Export meat, fish and bee products may be required,
as a condition of importation, to be supplied with a government to government health certificate ( sometimes called sanitary
certification ).
This
certification declares that a product complies with the New Zealand and
the importing countries food and biologicals requirements, verifies the
origin and process control of the product and attests to the good manufacturing
practices and hazard analysis critical control point programs ( HACCP )
employed in the production of the product.
These certificates are provided by the New
Zealand Food Safety Authority ( NZFSA ) and are available with all relevant export products.
